Pet Surrender
We understand that you may be unable to keep your pet and are here to help. We urge you to contact us before surrendering them to a shelter, as we can work together to find them a new home or provide other assistance. If we take your pet into the Homeless Pets Foundation, we’ll ensure your pet receives any new or outstanding treatment needed for placement into a happy & safe home.
Please complete the owner surrender form below, and one of our experienced volunteers will be in touch shortly. Our team is dedicated to helping you find the best possible solution for both you and your pet’s needs. Thank you for considering us in this difficult time.
By Georgia Law, we are unable to take in stray or found animals. Please report all stray or found animals to the county shelter associated with the county where the animal was found. The animal will be placed on a 7-day stray hold with the county shelter to give owners time to locate their lost pet. Want to help the animal you found? You can apply with the county shelter to become a foster finder, allowing you to foster the animal during their stray hold!
