Our Mission
Mission. Vision.🐾
Our Mission
The Homeless Pets Foundation is dedicated to saving the lives of cats and dogs that have run out of time at public shelters. We utilize social networks, host adoption events, and place pets in loving foster homes until their forever families are found.
Our Vision
We believe that abandoned and homeless animals deserve a second chance, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality. Our vision extends beyond rescue to promote the transformative power of responsible pet ownership in enriching lives and building stronger communities.
Through partnerships with schools and businesses via our Homeless Pet Clubs and transporting pets from the Southeast to areas with greater demand, we’re creating a brighter future for animals in need.

Our History
Homeless Pets Foundation is a veterinary-led rescue organization, founded by veterinarians and dedicated to the long-term well-being of animals who have no voice. Since 1998, we’ve been a beacon of hope for animals in need, rescuing over 10,000 cats and dogs and placing them into loving homes.
Our mission goes beyond saving shelter animals. We specialize in taking in animals that are often overlooked, including those with medical concerns requiring extra care and resources. We also accept owner surrenders, helping pets whose families can no longer care for them due to medical, financial, or personal hardships. Every animal in our care is spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, and fully prepared for a fresh start with their new families.
Founded by Dr. Michael Good and continued by Dr. Phil Good and Ashley Good, the Homeless Pets Foundation remains committed to the belief that every animal deserves a chance at a happy, healthy life.
