Our sweet girl, Paige (we kept the name you gave her), is a wonderful dog. We adopted her 2010. We are so happy you rescued her! Paige is a great communicator, using many “voices”. She and my husband sing together every morning! She also lets him know as soon as the paper arrives, and won’t leave him alone until he goes to get it. She is the best clock in the house! She lets me know when it is time for afternoon tea, because that is her time to hang her nose outside the bedroom window and survey her backyard for a while. She is very happy and so are we! -Donna Shapiro
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Madame Sullivan came to us as a teeny orphan that was in rough shape. Our bottle feeding volunteer nursed her back to health and on Sunday she went home with her new family. Happy purrs sweet girl!

Daphne, (left) caught their eye and they thought she’d make a good playmate for their retriever (right). Daphne was supposed to have already been put back in her kennel downstairs and another dog brought…
Brulee came into our program with his mama, Creme. He has gone from being babied by Creme to being babied by his new human family. Best wishes to the little guy! Thank you for adopting.
A family came to Petsmart Saturday hoping to fill the hole left in their lives by their recently departed 13 year old Golden Retriever. Must have been a big hole because they decided to adopt two puppies to fill it! We love when siblings can stay together. This sleepy duo, Pop and Tart, must have…
Pee Wee was rescued from a high kill shelter. We suspect that he was abused by a man, because he would get very scared and bark when a man would walk near him. This made him a very difficult dog to place. We brought him to a dog trainer to help him deal with his…
Jane came to us in May from a rough rural animal control facility in North Georgia. She was skittish, rail thin and not getting along with other dogs. She found it hard to relax in the shelter and stayed stressed out. A kind person offered to foster Jane until she got adopted so she could…
