Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.

Petfinder / Adopt a Pet ManagerRunning our Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet pages. Keeping all pet profiles up to date with new photos and catchy bios. Deleting profiles as pets get adopted. Adding new profiles after a pet has had intake and is ready for adoption.2-4 hours
Administrative AssistantUse your organizational skills to assist with filing, mailings, data entry, mailing donation thank yous, and other clerical tasks.1-3 hours
Behavior Program VolunteerSkilled volunteers with training and experience can work with our staff to provide training to animals in our behavior program. Leash Training, Dog Aggression, general intake1-2 hours
Foster Program AssistantHelp the foster program by assembling and organizing supplies, or for more experienced foster parents, by coaching our newest foster parents. You can also help by doing foster home checks before our homeless pet is placed into a foster home!1-2 hours
Volunteer ManagerResponds to all inquiries for volunteers keeps log of volunteers, and reaches out regarding volunteer events/needs. Manages Facebook page2-5 hours
Special/Adoption Event ManagerPlans adoption events, manage volunteers for events and animal transport, and the entire event. Works with outside companies/events to build relationships. Focus on 1-2 long-timer animals that need to be adopted – create social media campaigns/flyers.2-5 hours
Cat Room Meet & Greet CoordinatorHelps out going to cat room for meet & Greet coordinated by Beth/Mari. Manages contract signatures, payment, and any questions regarding the adoption process. Located: 2540 Cumberland Blvd SE, Smyrna, GA 300801-2 hours
Corporate Partnerships/Donation ManagerWorks with corporate sponsors to build community involvement. Reaches out to past corporate donors, sends updated information on needs of the foundation1-2 hours
Social Media ManagerHandling the overall social media needs – ensuring HPF posts 1x daily on all platforms. Reaches out to staff (Kennels/Mari) when needing new photos or planning social media blitzes. Ensures posting of stories/FB donate button4-6 hours
Social Media CoordinatorAssists manager in organizing social media needs2-4 hours
Newsletter ManagerThe newsletter manager will be responsible for creating and editing content, designing the layout, and sending out the newsletter to subscribers. The ideal candidate will have experience writing and editing content, graphic design experience, and HTML and email marketing software knowledge.2-4 hours
