Houston is our celebrikitty that was on the news when he was rescued from a storm drain by Marietta firemen when he was just a tiny kitten. He was adopted that week by a woman who saw the story on the news, but unfortunately she had to return him several months later because he was very active and being too rough with her senior cat.
Two weeks ago, Houston went into a trial adoption as a playmate for a younger kitten. It looks like he loves his new little brother already. His mom stopped by Petsmart today to make it official. He will be much happier in this home with another young cat to romp and play with. Happy purrs Houston!!
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
3 youngsters are in for a happy evening! Mom (camera shy) and Pop came in earlier today to adopt Zak. Wish we could be there when they meet their new furry brother! Congrats to all!
This family, who wasn’t intending to adopt, happened to stop by our adoption event as they passed us to run errands. Lulu got a lawyer daddy who also has a wife, a pack of rescue dogs and a big ranch! She’ll fit in perfectly and get to roam and explore like she was meant to. Congratulations Lulu!
Little Rhett got a new sister and parents too! Sister (camera shy, apparently) is a year old lab mix so these two tots will have a great time growing up together! Thank you for adopting!
