Dusty came our way recently when his owner passed away and had no back up plan for his pets. At age12 and with severe hair loss due to flea infestation we were prepared to have Dusty with us good long while. Happily, fate intervened. This fantastic family saw Dusty at our mobile adoption event Saturday and couldn’t get him off their minds so showed up the next day too and brought the whole family, including dog Suzy, so everyone could welcome Dusty to his new home! His new mom got teary eyed several times as arrangements were made for Dusty to become theirs. <3 Dusty is already doing great in their home and settling into his new life. Mom is making him chicken and rice to mix in his food and dad already took him on a road trip (he sat in dad’s lap for 4 hours!) THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ADOPTING DUSTY! We’re so grateful you saw him and are giving him a great life in his golden years.
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Little Lexi found a family to fit into. She gets a new dad and sister plus a furry brother named Sebastian. She claimed a spot in her sis’s lap immediately and grabbed onto her arm as if to say – “I’m going wherever you are!” Congratulations to all!
