Our sweet girl, Paige (we kept the name you gave her), is a wonderful dog. We adopted her 2010. We are so happy you rescued her! Paige is a great communicator, using many “voices”. She and my husband sing together every morning! She also lets him know as soon as the paper arrives, and won’t leave him alone until he goes to get it. She is the best clock in the house! She lets me know when it is time for afternoon tea, because that is her time to hang her nose outside the bedroom window and survey her backyard for a while. She is very happy and so are we! -Donna Shapiro
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Houston is our celebrikitty that was on the news when he was rescued from a storm drain by Marietta firemen when he was just a tiny kitten. He was adopted that week by a woman who saw the story on the news, but unfortunately she had to return him several months later because he was…
Foster homes are great for so many reasons, one being that they sometimes end up adopting their foster animal! Congratulations to Swiss Roll, who went home with this kind gal and her husband a while back. Swiss Roll needed to be in a home to recover from a urinary tract infection (he’s all better now)….
Thelma has a family now! Her new name is Izzy and here’s a picture of her hanging out with her new furry sibling and chillaxing in her very own plush bed. Her family reports “it’s like she’s always lived here!”. That’s music to our ears. Best wishes Izzy and family!
A very excited woman came in to meet Hamilton and Yale. She had intended on only adopting one kitten, but once she found out how much they loved each other, she couldn’t leave one behind. She couldn’t wait to get them home to spoil them with love and toys, but she stopped for a moment…
From anxious to eager, these pre-and post-adoption shots show what a difference a home and love make. Thank you for adopting Athens (now called Lilly) and for being a repeat adopter with us!
