Sebastian is cuddly, lovable, friendly, laid back and likes other dogs. He’s not a puppy and he has heartworms — those are the only reasons we can think of for his waiting around since June for a home. His wait is over.
This sweet couple saw the good in Sebastian, didn’t mind giving him a monthly pill to cure his heartworm and weren’t in the market for a puppy. Sometimes it take a few months, or even a few years, but there’s usually a great home out there for homeless pets!
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Long time HPF resident, Stewie (solid black kitty), went into a trial adoption a couple of weeks ago. We’re happy to report that his new mom signed on the dotted line this past Sunday. Stewie is officially part of the family. Happy purrs sweet boy!
Caution: there’s a big occupational hazard in store for those who work in our kennels – you fall in love over and over and over again. This new employee couldn’t help but fall for sweet and calm Dodger and asked how he could adopt him. We gladly showed him. Congratulations to both of you guys!…
