Good things come to those who wait politely! Zsa Zsa has been such a polite and patient dog and a pleasure to have around as she waited for a forever family. Her wait is over and we’ll miss her but we’re happy for her and this cute group! Congratulations and thank you for adopting!
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
We pulled sweet Sonny from a high-kill shelter in north Georgia. His handsome mug caught the eye of this family and they took him home for a 2-week trial adoption to make sure he was right for them and their pampered 14-year old cat. Saturday’s Dog Olympics were fun, and fruitful for Astro who got a home out of the deal! Thanks for everyone who came out to participate. We had some pooped volunteers and worn-out dog athletes afterward — it was all worthwhile. Congrats Astro! Thank you for adopting!
Isis (ex-Ambrosia) is doing great. She is a wonderful cat. Very sweet and quite playful. She spends most of her looking out the windows and napping. She’s very animated when chasing her favorite toy (a good old-fashioned string) and is very vocal when she’s ready to play. She’s funny in that she follows me around…
