The man of the house in this family spotted our post last night featuring Camille and her puppies. Though he hadn’t been planning on getting another pet at this time he was smitten so he completed an online application and was among the first to show up this morning at our adoption event. The Giffin family picked little Cassie (in middle) to join their pack, becoming their forth pampered pooch! Congratulations and thank you for adopting!!!
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Our sweet mama cat, Missy, went to her new home. She was a great mama and all of her babies have been adopted. Now it’s her turn! Happy purrs Missy!
Just wanted to send in an update about Ethel. We have fallen completely in love with this sweet girl!!! She took to me right away. She was a bit leery of my Husband but a piece of cheese soon helped her trust him more. Our 3 year old LOVES her and has renamed her “Nutkin”….
We love our volunteers and adopters. So when a couple who volunteers with us adopted from us, we were over the moon! Volunteers Jackie and Kenny help us wrangle, exercise and showcase our dogs at mobile adoption events. When you’re hands on with the dogs on a regular basis you get to know them well….
