Skippy was sad and scared at our shelter and even when he met someone at Petsmart he was still too upset to interact much with his potential new mom and her dog. But she felt he would open up once he was in a home (so did we) so she took at chance and signed up for a 2-week trial.
A week into the trial she called to say she was ready to finalize! Skippy had made himself at home and is now renamed Popeye to match his “sister” Olive. Happy tails! Thank you for adopting and for seeing this diamond in the rough.
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
This young woman had her eye on Hershey for a few weeks but was planning a move, so wasn’t quite ready to adopt. She’s finally all settled in to her new place and brought Hershey home. Happy purrs sweet boy!
I adopted Felix, who is now named Tigger, from you. He was heartworm positive also. You provided all of his medicines and vet care and he is healthy and very well loved! Thank you for all you do for animals. -Carolyn Sussman
Thelma has a family now! Her new name is Izzy and here’s a picture of her hanging out with her new furry sibling and chillaxing in her very own plush bed. Her family reports “it’s like she’s always lived here!”. That’s music to our ears. Best wishes Izzy and family!
Buster was a long-time Homeless Pets member, but eventually he found his forever family! Not only is he feeling the love now, but he gives just as much back to his family! He even has a man cave to hang out in now! Just a reminder that there is a perfect match out there for…
