This little guy aced his first adoption event! Ace was snapped up by a family with a pack of spoiled pups: a 15-year old Shih Tzu, a 9-year old Pekingese and a 9-month old Golden Retriever (see pic of them cuddling – they’ll have to make room for 1 more!).
Ace has been renamed Bailey and is already learning how to be a couch potato and play dress-up (in pink!), compliments of the family’s 6-year old daughter.
May you all have a great long life together! Thanks so much for adopting!
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
We love repeat adopters! It was great to see Janet and her husband David come back through our doors. Madame Sullivan came to us as a teeny orphan that was in rough shape. Our bottle feeding volunteer nursed her back to health and on Sunday she went home with her new family. Happy purrs sweet girl!

And don’t worry, Matilda was happy in her adoption picture,…
We love our volunteers and adopters. So when a couple who volunteers with us adopted from us, we were over the moon! Volunteers Jackie and Kenny help us wrangle, exercise and showcase our dogs at mobile adoption events. When you’re hands on with the dogs on a regular basis you get to know them well….
