Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.

Brendie (left) adopted a new Mama! Yay! This sweet dog came to us all the way from the St. Simon’s Island area from an overly full shelter. We’re pleased we were able to match her with someone who will love her forever. Congratulations and thank you for adopting!
Have you ever felt happy and sad at the same time? That’s how our volunteer who bottle-fed all those motherless pups feels this weekend as she places each of the beautiful babies into the arms of their new families. We rescued Camille in February from an animal control facility. She’d just had puppies. We saw the worker there grab a metal rabies pole and drag Camille out by the neck. Ugh! We were so sad to see this sweet little mama treated that way. Camille sat on our volunteer’s lap, traumatized on the way…
