Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Long time HPF resident, Stewie (solid black kitty), went into a trial adoption a couple of weeks ago. We’re happy to report that his new mom signed on the dotted line this past Sunday. Stewie is officially part of the family. Happy purrs sweet boy!

We wanted to provide your team an update on Kiki (formerly known as Oreo). She is an amazing, friendly dog. She LOVES playing with other dogs at the dog park, hiking, and hanging out with family. She is gentle and everyone thinks she’s so cute! We are hoping to make it out to the lake…
We were concerned when 9 year old Piper was surrendered into our program. Older pets have a difficult time adjusting to shelter life and often wait a while to be adopted. Brendie (left) adopted a new Mama! Yay! This sweet dog came to us all the way from the St. Simon’s Island area from an overly full shelter. We’re pleased we were able to match her with someone who will love her forever. Congratulations and thank you for adopting!
