Long time HPF resident, Stewie (solid black kitty), went into a trial adoption a couple of weeks ago. We’re happy to report that his new mom signed on the dotted line this past Sunday. Stewie is officially part of the family. Happy purrs sweet boy!
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
We love our volunteers and adopters. So when a couple who volunteers with us adopted from us, we were over the moon! Volunteers Jackie and Kenny help us wrangle, exercise and showcase our dogs at mobile adoption events. When you’re hands on with the dogs on a regular basis you get to know them well….
The family who picked Troy spent a long time picking out which of Toni’s eight babies was the perfect one for them. They’re looking to mend hearts broken from having to say goodbye to their family dog a few months ago. Best wishes to the new family! Thank you for adopting.
Thank goodness not everyone’s pet criteria is “small” and “fluffy”! Brinks is neither but he’s a perfectly precious pup! Little Lexi found a family to fit into. She gets a new dad and sister plus a furry brother named Sebastian. She claimed a spot in her sis’s lap immediately and grabbed onto her arm as if to say – “I’m going wherever you are!” Congratulations to all!
Sheila, a friend of one of our volunteers, happened to see a picture of adoptable dog Mollie on her friend’s Facebook page.
