Starlight can be a nervous Nellie so we wanted to find her a home where she could relax and not have to deal with a lot of stress. Enter Wayne. Wayne’s had several Chihuahuas and knows their “quirks”. His last one died of old age not too long ago and he was looking for a new friend.
He took Starlight home for a 14-day trial adoption. On day one at his house they watched football together in the recliner. Day two, Starlight watched deer in the backyard through the sliding glass door. Day three, Wayne called and said the trial was over that he already knew she was there to stay! We are so happy for this moody little gal and her patient new Pop! Thanks for adopting!
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Big sweetheart Otis found his forever home! He went into a trial adoption 2 weeks ago to see how he did around the family’s cats and he’s apparently passed the test! Congratulations to the new family! Thank you for adopting.
Just wanted to send in an update about Ethel. We have fallen completely in love with this sweet girl!!! She took to me right away. She was a bit leery of my Husband but a piece of cheese soon helped her trust him more. Our 3 year old LOVES her and has renamed her “Nutkin”….
Mableton was the last of her litter to get a home, which we couldn’t understand. She’s adorable AND sweet. Her wait is over now! She gets a family with four kids and one four-legged brother plus a big fenced yard she can use to run and play for the first time in her short life!…
