Benny is one of our long term cats that we’ve had for over a year. He went home with a nice woman who’d been contemplating a new pet for a while. She visited us today and fell in love with Benny. Happy purrs sweet boy!

Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Reeses, the Chinese Crested, landed in the perfect spot with a Marietta family who has a pampered Yorkie ready to be his playmate.
Have you ever felt happy and sad at the same time? That’s how our volunteer who bottle-fed all those motherless pups feels this weekend as she places each of the beautiful babies into the arms of their new families. We love our volunteers and adopters. So when a couple who volunteers with us adopted from us, we were over the moon! Volunteers Jackie and Kenny help us wrangle, exercise and showcase our dogs at mobile adoption events. When you’re hands on with the dogs on a regular basis you get to know them well….

Foster Program Assistant | Help the foster program by assembling and organizing supplies, or for more experienced foster parents, by coaching our newest foster parents. You can also help by doing foster home checks before our homeless pet is placed into a foster home! | 1-2 hours |
