The Weather Channel recently filmed a segment with the Homeless Pets Foundation after we rescued over 30 dogs and cats from areas affected by the tornadoes that devastated Alabama.

Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Dr. Good had a great time discussing Homeless Pet Clubs with some of the faculty and students of Benjamin E Mays High School.
Dr. Good attended Cheatham Hill’s pet club meeting and brought with some adorable puppies for the kids to play with.
Homeless Pets Foundation is very proud of the fact that we rescue heartworm positive dogs. These dogs have little chance to survive in an animal shelter if they are positive for heartworms. A special shout out of THANKS to the Tricks4 Kids Homeless Pets Club for donating a trunk-load of goodies and supplies to Homeless Pets Foundation this weekend. The kids also designed some custom t-shirts and posters they’ll use to advertise our cause. Thank you for helping the homeless animals!
