This couple met Bella Saturday at the Red Hare Brewing Company 5k (an event Red Hare generously donated proceeds from – THANK YOU!!!). They had lots of questions about this little 4-pound bundle of love. Guess who was waiting for us the next day when we arrived with dogs at our adoption event? Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.

Cheeto’s new mom and dad are smitten. They say that he’s the best cat they ever had, he’s spoiled and gets to eat dinner in bed sometimes, and is working on his fishing skills (for the fishies sake we hope he doesn’t succeed!). It’s a happy ending for us and a happy beginning for them.
