The Shankwiler family stopped by Petsmart when we were there with adoptable dogs and noticed Buford (tan shepherd). They were impressed with his calm demeanor and even though they weren’t in the market for a new dog, thought he might make a good friend for their dog Bella who has some anxiety issues. Bella met Buford and sparks flew — the good kind!
Buford, Bella and the whole family are very happy and feel Buford was a great addition. Thank you for adopting!!!!

Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
After recovering from the worst of a bad wreck, this lady decided she needed a friend to keep her motivated with exercise, a companion to keep her company and someone to love. Bama is happy she picked her! (And she’ll get more used to being picked up and bear-hugged!). Thank you for adopting, not shopping!

Piper was born in one of our foster homes, adopted out as an itty bitty kitten, then four years later she was returned because her pet parent was going off to college and the parents didn’t want to keep her. Thank you to this sweet couple for giving Piper her second chance at a forever…
Mother and daughter Kai and Kiki were adopted by this mother and daughter as the family’s first dogs. We know these sweet girls will give them a lifetime of love and fun. Thank you for adopting!
Oh Suzie Q. Oh Suzie Q! Say you’ll be mine, all the time, Suzie Q. (What, you don’t know that song?) Suzie Q ALMOST didn’t selected to go to Petsmart adoptions a couple of weeks ago. And this couple ALMOST walked by without noticing her. But she did and they didn’t, and now she’s no…
