A hearty thank you and congratulations to the Bair’s for adopting Diamond, now called Lucy. The Bair’s were looking for someone to love after having to say goodbye to their 13 year old lab Jake. They’ve been patiently teaching Lucy that their cat Puddy is someone to hang out with, not chase. And she’s learning, much to Puddy’s relief.
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Dusty came our way recently when his owner passed away and had no back up plan for his pets. At age12 and with severe hair loss due to flea infestation we were prepared to have Dusty with us good long while. Happily, fate intervened. Luke has left the building! Luke (on right) joins a family with two other canine playmates and doting parents! They looked at a number of dogs at local shelters and rescue groups and Luke won their hearts. Understandable. Congratulations to the new family and thank you for adopting!
Lulu got a lawyer daddy who also has a wife, a pack of rescue dogs and a big ranch! She’ll fit in perfectly and get to roam and explore like she was meant to. Congratulations Lulu!
Thelma has a family now! Her new name is Izzy and here’s a picture of her hanging out with her new furry sibling and chillaxing in her very own plush bed. Her family reports “it’s like she’s always lived here!”. That’s music to our ears. Best wishes Izzy and family!
