Sheila, a friend of one of our volunteers, happened to see a picture of adoptable dog Mollie on her friend’s Facebook page. Mollie, a scruffy chihuahua, had just been abandoned and was so scared and in need of someone to love.
Sheila already had a chihuahua who was grieving because her other dog had recently passed away. Little Girl, a Katrina Hurricane rescue, needed a friend. Sheila thought Mollie might be a good fit.
From the get-go the dogs hit it off and are already inseparable. Sheila is over the moon happy that her household is complete again. THANK YOU for adopting. Congratulation Mollie!
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Brulee came into our program with his mama, Creme. He has gone from being babied by Creme to being babied by his new human family. Best wishes to the little guy! Thank you for adopting.
Toffee is the first dog for this young lady and her husband. They just moved here from Pennsylvania so can explore our state with their new furry friend. Toffee gets two cat siblings our of the bargain too.
Have you ever felt happy and sad at the same time? That’s how our volunteer who bottle-fed all those motherless pups feels this weekend as she places each of the beautiful babies into the arms of their new families. Congrats to Dory and her new people! Hopefully we will get updates, progress reports and pictures…
