A family came to Petsmart Saturday hoping to fill the hole left in their lives by their recently departed 13 year old Golden Retriever. Must have been a big hole because they decided to adopt two puppies to fill it! We love when siblings can stay together. This sleepy duo, Pop and Tart, must have thought they were dreaming when they woke up in their new forever home! Thank you for adopting!
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
My husband and I started to volunteer with Homeless Pets Foundation last fall. After working a couple adoptions, we noticed a senior dog, Waffle, who did not receive much attention from perspective adopters. Waffle was the victim of a hoarding case and, at 14 years old, had been at the shelter for six months. When…
We adopted Miss Mae (formerly Bella) from the Homeless Pets Foundation in July 2012. She was only seven weeks old and had been left by herself in a box outside of a Wal-Mart before being turned in to Homeless Pets. Now almost two, Miss Mae is such an important part of our family and we…
Simone got snapped up today by this sweet and happy family from Cumming! We know she will get much love and attention in this household. Congrats to all and thank you for adopting!
Two more happy tails! Professor Utonium and Miss Keane (from our Powerpuff litter) found forever homes. Miss Keane (left) went home with this happy lady and her husband and will hopefully bring out the inner puppy of their 11-year old border collie. Professor was selected by this family to be a buddy for them and…
A hearty thank you and congratulations to the Bair’s for adopting Diamond, now called Lucy. The Bair’s were looking for someone to love after having to say goodbye to their 13 year old lab Jake. They’ve been patiently teaching Lucy that their cat Puddy is someone to hang out with, not chase. And she’s learning,…
Lulu got a lawyer daddy who also has a wife, a pack of rescue dogs and a big ranch! She’ll fit in perfectly and get to roam and explore like she was meant to. Congratulations Lulu!
