We rescued Camille in February from an animal control facility. She’d just had puppies. We saw the worker there grab a metal rabies pole and drag Camille out by the neck. Ugh! We were so sad to see this sweet little mama treated that way. Camille sat on our volunteer’s lap, traumatized on the way back to our shelter.
But this story has a happy ending. All her puppies were quickly adopted, Camille quickly became happy and perky and now she has a family to call her own! Thank you so much for adopting and loving this deserving girl!

This little guy aced his first adoption event! Ace was snapped up by a family with a pack of spoiled pups: a 15-year old Shih Tzu, a 9-year old Pekingese and a 9-month old Golden Retriever (see pic of them cuddling – they’ll have to make room for 1 more!). Ace has been renamed Bailey…

Here is Newton (former member) and his border collie big brother, Bally. We adopted Newton (or did he adopt us?) three years ago. He’s a real clown and not a day goes by that he doesn’t share his cuteness with us! -Kim Koran
Used by a breeder until she was considered too old, then tossed out of his vehicle on Highway 400 like trash, Mavis never knew love. Until now. Welcome to the life you always deserved, Mavis! Congratulations on your new home and family. We’re all rooting for you! Thank you so much for adopting Mavis!
Thank you for rescuing Lupa (formerly Madeline) two years ago! She continues to come out of her shell more and more and brightens each and every day! -Elizabeth Gaylor
