Junior came our way when his owner dumped him and his “brother” Buford from their car then sped off. The dogs held no grudges so we tried not to too.
Junior believes when one door closes (even if you’ve just been tossed out it) another one opens. He’s right since this happy lady, Lora, opened the door to our shelter weeks later and picked him for her new pet!
Lora got her home all pet-proofed, read up on heartworms and came back for Junior bearing toys for his ride home with her. Makes our hearts happy.
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Willow’s new family has her decked out in style! She’s now called Olive and will be doted on by a mom and pop, two teenage sisters and two preteen brothers. That should make for one VERY spoiled former shelter dog! Thank you so much for adopting this perky pup!
