What does an HPF volunteer choose when her family tells her to pick out a birthday gift herself? To rescue a dog of course! Mary chose our own Tink (who she actually named too, back when he first entered our program – so maybe she knew then he was destined to be hers?)
Tink was born with a birth defect no one had corrected and recently had to have one of his front legs removed. He’s recovering like a champ – in the comfort of his new home with Mary and family. Congrats to the Stockstills and thank you for volunteering AND adopting!

This lovely lady spotted Rebel and could see he was no such thing. It was love at first sight for both and she announced her plan to spoil this sweet guy rotten! Good plan! Thank you for adopting!

Big sweetheart Otis found his forever home! He went into a trial adoption 2 weeks ago to see how he did around the family’s cats and he’s apparently passed the test! Congratulations to the new family! Thank you for adopting.

At age12 and with severe hair loss due to flea infestation we were prepared to have Dusty with us good long while. Happily, fate intervened. This fantastic family saw Dusty at our mobile adoption event Saturday…
