Sweet surprise for this little girl! Mom and dad had already met and been approved to adopt Rubble as a new family member and companion for their own rescued cattle dog mix.
To add some fun to the process, they didn’t tell their daughter what they’d done and took her to our facility on a day when we had one of our low-cost vaccine clinics. She thought they were there to get their dog’s vaccinations.
When Rubble was casually brought over by a volunteer, the little girl was smitten and shyly asked the volunteer what the puppy’s name was. The volunteer said “Rubble”. Then mom said, “But you can name him anything you want because he’s coming home with us!!!”
Happy tears flowed and Rubble is one lucky guy. Thank you for the fun adoption! Best wishes!
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
This adorable family saw Cosmo online and knew they had to have him. After their online application was approved they drove up from Newnan and met their new big baby! Cosmo makes furkid number three for this big-hearted crew. Thank you so much for giving our special guy a great home! Many happy tails Cosmo!
Hi, my name is Elizabeth Yandell and I’ve had the privilege of adopting 3 amazing cats from the Homeless Pets Foundation. My first was Chatt. I kept his name because is suited him perfectly given his back story. I adopted Chatt on September 21, 2014, just over 3 months after my family and I lost…
Do you love me? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Congratulations and bye-bye to our Beatles litter who got adopted this week! Ringo, George, Jude, Lennon and Yoko will be much loved.
I’d say PeeWee, now called Sylvia, looks pretty comfy in her new home, wouldn’t you? Congratulations to this cute couple and their new furry baby! Thank you for adopting!
