We’re not bragging when we say we work hard to rescue and re-home every animal in our program. It takes lots of brawn, brain, time and talent. Our small team is currently trying to work our magic on 120+ homeless pets.
So when a red-headed, freckle-faced, blue-eyed puppy is among the latest group of dogs needing homes, we celebrate. Blue-eyed dogs are a cinch to get adopted!
Case in point, Skittles made his adoption debut today at Petsmart and left with his new family and their Great Dane a couple of hours later. Wish they were all this easy!
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Rogue came to us with her brother when they were teeny babies. They were malnourished and had bad eye infections. Our amazing bottle feeding volunteer nursed them to perfect health, and now Rogue has a family to call her own.
Here is Newton (former member) and his border collie big brother, Bally. We adopted Newton (or did he adopt us?) three years ago. He’s a real clown and not a day goes by that he doesn’t share his cuteness with us! -Kim Koran
We rescued Nikko after his owner turned him over with parvovirus. He was named Dosier back in the day. He is doing amazing now, we have had him almost a year. He’s rocking training with the guys at Tenasity and is my new office companion. We LOVE him! -Deidre Vandenbos
