This couple did everything right. They fell for Joker online but didn’t let that stop them from considering all the factors of adopting him first. They scheduled a meet and greet to get to know him. They brought their other adopted dog, Ella, to meet Joker to see if Ella also gave him the stamp of approval. They consulted Ella’s trainer to make sure Joker and Ella seemed compatible and a good fit. THEN they completed the application, were approved (of course!) and took home their new big baby!
Joker is now “Frankie” (after Sinatra, ol’ blue eyes) and is right where he should have been all along! Congrats and thank you so much for taking adoption seriously! Best wishes to the whole family!
Dr. Phil Good, owner of Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, received his Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2006. Phil finally came to his senses, realizing he’d much rather work with animals than in a chemical plant. Dr. Good obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from UGA in 2011.
Foster homes are great for so many reasons, one being that they sometimes end up adopting their foster animal! Congratulations to Swiss Roll, who went home with this kind gal and her husband a while back. Swiss Roll needed to be in a home to recover from a urinary tract infection (he’s all better now)….
This lovely lady spotted Rebel and could see he was no such thing. It was love at first sight for both and she announced her plan to spoil this sweet guy rotten! Good plan! Thank you for adopting!
We would be lost without all of the activity provided by our Alex and Abbey. They are so much fun and keep us constantly entertained playing with each other. We are delighted we adopted them. Thanks to the folks at Homeless Pets Foundation for bringing us together. -Ron and Carolyn
